03. AI & Data Engineering Inherent Limitations
We ship production-grade systems with monitoring, eval pipelines, and documented handoffs. That said:
- AI outputs are probabilistic. No model or agent guarantees 100% accuracy. Human oversight is recommended for high-stakes decisions.
- Data quality affects everything downstream. Issues identified in audit are surfaced in writing; remediation is the client’s responsibility unless explicitly scoped.
- Red-teaming is point-in-time. Our A1 audit covers the agreed scope at time of delivery. System changes or new attack vectors after handoff may introduce new risks.
- Third-party services change. We are not liable for breaking changes introduced by LLM providers, cloud platforms, or APIs after delivery.
04. No Post-Handoff Support (Without Retainer)
Outside of an active D5 or A5 retainer, delivered systems are the client’s operational responsibility after handoff. We do not provide free ongoing support as a default. Follow-on work is available as a scoped engagement.
